A labour of love
The five year restoration of the Dovecote was completed in September 2001 and today is rated one of the most romantic places to stay in Britain (The Observer, June 2003).
The Dovecote is no longer home to over a thousand pigeons, but now offers a perfect hideaway in the depths of the Oxfordshire countryside, yet within an hour and half's easy driving of London, Southampton, Bristol and Birmingham.
